My husband and I had our marriage blessed yesterday, then we celebrated with afternoon tea with my family, and it was absolutely wonderful and perfect.

I spent the last month planning it all and it turned out even more lovely than I imagined. We even got to look at flowers in bloom and a model village right before the food too, which I didn't anticipate being there. I couldn't be happier. Yeah sure I can do hopium!

Context: when I said I wasn't super impressed by Charles's wet-weather skills, I don't mean that he's Bad. I mean that he doesn't blow me away compared to the top talents on the grid, who are really good (Max, Lewis) and compared to his all-around skill level, which is high. He's not a BAD wet-weather driver. I think he's a really impressive driver, and he has been right from the start of his F1 career, but his wet racing wasn't quite up to the rest.

However: I also think he's visibly improved as a driver within the last couple of years, and I see no reason why that shouldn't translate to putting up a good performance when it's drizzly. Wet racing is fundamentally about changing track conditions adding an extra layer of difficulty to maintain grip — you have to take different track lines, brake earlier in corners, etc — it's a skillset that comes easier to some drivers than others but it doesn't mean it can't be developed.

I'm like... not super thrilled by the prospect of Charles in the wet but (when it comes to "just" his driving skills) I'm not exceedingly worried either, bc we simply haven't seen many wet races in the last couple of seasons where Charles was in a condition to be competitive to begin with, so who the fuck knows! He could pull a masterclass out of his ass. He could just do okay. We shall see but I'm not worried about Charles's performance specifically, more about general chaos, unlucky satefy car timings etc. I'm also way less worried about a potential team strategy blunder than I would have been at the beginning of the season because they've actually kinda been cooking lately (kissing Fred's bald head!!)

I hope this puts you at ease! Singapore is an unpredictable track to begin with so some chaos was always going to happen, a wet track would add to that but not even too much. Crossing my fingers!!!
